Now I’ve finished making this luxury residence for our small feather friends, I am hoping a nesting pair will decide it is good enough for them to settle down in. I’ve read up on the best place to put it and used the right hole size to attract them. All I can do now is wait and see.
Some residents may be put off when they find out their new home is more like a reality TV show where they are streamed to the internet 24×7. I have included a camera connected to a Raspberry Pi for this purpose. I am hoping the blue tits are not so socially media aware and don’t notice. Maybe I should avoid publicising it on Twitter as that could be their platform of choice?
