The blue tit chicks are growing fast and you can see see their feathers now. Both parents are in and out of the box all the time feeding their hungry brood. It must be so tiring for them having such a busy job to do.
So far it seems like they have been able to find enough food to satisfy their hunger. Although I’ve been looking carefully and only been able to spot 7 chicks begging and there were definitely 8 at the beginning so we may have had one casualty already. With the rest having made it through the first couple of weeks, it’s looking good for them so far.
