Here is a lovely but rare sight in the video below of the male blue tit feeding the female whilst she is busy incubating the eggs. Normally the female leaves the nest several times a day in search of food so it’s great to see her mate helping out.
She has been on the eggs for approximately a week now. As the incubation period is about 14-15 days, we hope to see successful hatching of chicks early to mid next week.
